Hi Thank you for subscribing to the New Zealand mailing list for people interested in the Sociology of Health and Illness. The idea of this list came out of the Sociology Conference at Massey University in November 1994. At that conference there was a special health and illness interest stream and it was thought that the attendees might like to keep in touch with each other and invite like-minded individals to join us. So WELCOME! It would be a nice idea to introduce ourselves to each other as we join up, so you might like to send your first message to the list right now. Include the name that you like to be called, where you work and your field of interest for a start. Using Sochealthnz-list
To post a message to all the list members, send email to sochealthnz-list@lists.otago.ac.nz. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Sochealthnz-list
Subscribe to Sochealthnz-list by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a public list, which means that the list of members list is available to everyone. (but we obscure the addresses so they are not easily recognizable by spammers). Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
