Tēnā koutou, With the new academic year swiftly approaching, we would like to introduce the Social Anthropology programme | Te Mātai Tikaka Takata 2026 Postgraduate Symposium! To be held in Te Punawai Conference Room at Te Rangihīroa College, this is a day to share your research and support the mahi of your peers, as well as some information from various academic staff within the programme. Please get in contact with the 2026 postgraduate co-ordinator, Molly George (SocAnthPostGradCoordinator@otago.ac.nz<mailto:SocAnthPostGradCoordinator@otago.ac.nz>) to get information about presenting your work. The symposium will be from 10am-5pm – keep an eye out for the official program to come! There will be a catered morning and afternoon tea so please reply to this email if you have any dietary requirements to consider. An hour lunch break will be scheduled in the day so feel free to bring a lunch or explore the options around campus 😊.
